In the run-up to tomorrow’s Jan 6 House Committee hearing examining ties between Donald Trump and domestic extremist groups, the Coalition for a Safer Web (CSW) launched an investigation into TRUTH Social – the social media site founded by former President Trump. The purpose of our review was to determine whether extremist groups implicated in the violence at the Capitol are active on TRUTH Social and comingling their accounts with Trump and his supporters’ digital ecosystem.

Based on our investigation it is readily apparent that neither Mr. Trump nor his TRUTH Social CEO, Devin Nunes have prevented extremist groups from gaining a secure foothold on the platform.
